The Tillman Rage

Everyone who's someone knows something about Tillman, the skateboarding bulldog, by now.  I mean, there are Tillman chew toys, stuffed Tillman, and Tillman dog treats.  I recently bought a 30 pound bag of Tillman Dog Food, just hoping Glory is gonna wake up one of these mornings with inherent skateboarding talents....so far this hasn't happened.  If she doesn't gain super skateboarding abilities, do you think Glory will settle for this t-shirt instead?

So, with all the BUZZ about Tillman, I'm thinking I'm a celebrity now, just because I came within 3 feet of him!  At Pasadena's Tournament of Roses Post Parade Showcase of Floats, the one and only Tillman had a live interview scheduled.  Here is a picture of Tillman talking our ears off....

At the Post Parade Float Showcase, the famous Natural Balance Float featured a 5-10 minute exposition of the snowboarding dogs.  The dogs of course first learned how to skateboard, but the float mimics how I envision a quaint little ski resort high in the Swiss Alps.  Make skateboards look like snowboards, and voila!  I mean, anyone who knows how to skateboard knows how to snowboard too, right?  Wrong.  The following is a very detailed photograph of me watching bulldogs snowboard on a parade float constructed entirely of natural materials...

As you can see, the Tillman Float drew an enormous crowd, considering it was only 8:30 in the morning at the Post Parade Float Showcase.

So what have I learned from America's Latest Teen (Tillman is 3) Idol?!  No, not to carry marijuana, Xanax and sleeping pills for which I don't have a prescription for, then get caught by the cops.
